Former ALMA chair appointed co-chair of global response to COVID-19

The African Leaders Malaria Alliance congratulates former President of Liberia Her Excellency Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Nobel Laureate who also served as the ALMA Chair (2012-2013) on her appointment as Co- Chair of the Independent Panel for Pandemic Preparedness and Response (IPPR) to evaluate the world’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. She will co-chair with the former Prime Minister of New Zealand Her Excellency Helen Clark who also served as the Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme.
