ALMA is supporting the Gambia’s Ministry of Health and Sanitation in the implementation of the country’s malaria and Reproductive Maternal Newborn Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH) scorecard management tools for accountability and action.

  1. The Gambia’s malaria scorecard for accountability and action

The Gambia’s National Malaria Control Programme developed the malaria National scorecard management tool for accountability and action in 2016 with support from ALMA and partners. Since the rollout, ALMA has supported the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare in the strengthening of the scorecard management tool, linking the tool to DHIS2 and using the action tracker to document actions identified as part of the scorecard review.

2. The Gambia’s RMNCAH scorecard for accountability and action

The Gambia’s RMNCAH scorecard management tool for action and accountability was first developed by the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare in 2015 in collaboration with ALMA and partners.
