Niger’s malaria scorecard for accountability and action was developed in 2017 by the Ministry of Public Health. Led by the National Malaria Control Programme and supported by partners. Since its rollout, ALMA has supported the country in the strengthening of the scorecard management tool.
Namibia’s RMNCAH scorecard for accountability and action, was developed by Ministry of Public Health in 2017 with support from ALMA and partners. The scorecard tool is used to track key maternal and child health indicators, identify bottlenecks and drive action. Since its rollout, ALMA has been supporting the Ministry of Health in the strengthening of the scorecard management tool.
3. Niger’s Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTD) Control and Elimination scorecard
Drawing from experiences from the RMNCAH and malaria scorecards tools to drive action and accountability, the Ministry of Public Health led the development of Niger’s NTD Control and Elimination scorecard Tool in 2019. The scorecard tool is used to increase awareness about NTDs, track key indicators, identify bottlenecks and drive action. The NTD scorecard in Niger led to the initiation of a multisectoral coalition for NTDs.
