MINISTRY OF HEALTH OF LIBERIA DEVELOPS MALARIA CONTROL SCORECARD WITH SUPPORT FROM ALMA

The Republic of Liberia’s Ministry of Health, led by the National Malaria Control Program, with support from ALMA, spent nine days developing Liberia’s National Malaria Control Scorecard.

The scorecard will strengthen accountability, transparency and action in the country’s efforts to consolidate malaria control gains and progress towards elimination. The scorecard also complements wider health-sector initiatives to rebuild Liberia’s recently disrupted health system. The development of Liberia’s scorecard was enthusiastically welcomed by Her Excellency President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and key development partners.
