Yesterday, Malaria No More held its tenth anniversary gala in New York. During the gala, Founding ALMA Chair, H.E. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, Former President of the United Republic of Tanzania and Mr. Ray Chambers, United Nations Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Health in Agenda 2030 and for Malaria & Co-Founder of Malaria No More were presented with White House Summit Awards and honored for their pivotal roles in malaria successes to date. H.E. Kikwete and Mr. Chambers also participated in a panel moderated by CNN's Wolf Blitzer to discuss how we have achieved the gains against malaria and how we can push forward to ultimately achieve malaria elimination. ALMA would like to congratulate H.E. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete and Mr. Ray Chambers for their continued leadership and partnership in the fight against malaria.
