On the 26th -27th October 16, ALMA held a brainstorming meeting to discuss opportunities for integrating the country scorecard and action tracker approach into in-country community engagement initiatives addressing RMNCH and malaria. The meeting brought together stakeholders from the Government of Tanzania from national and sub-national levels and experts from development partner organizations including UNICEF and WHO involved in community engagement. Experiences from Tanzania and beyond were shared and there was consensus from participants that extending the country scorecard and action tracking approach to community engagement programmes has immense potential to improve health outcomes. A follow up meeting was held with the PMNCH partnership. Input from these meetings will feed into further discussions with countries and partners to inform plans to utilize RMNCH and malaria scorecards.
